Today is the big day.

James is so excited. Everything is ready, and the cake looks amazing - it's almost so good, he isn't sure he can eat it (of course, he'll get over that soon enough ( Read more... )

In the kitchen, drinks are laid out, mainly sodas but there is a keg or two of beer and some bottles of wine.

Scattered around the house are a variety of things to eat, all leaning towards various sorts of junk food either sweet or savory.

Sometime during the evening a bottle of good Irish whiskey appears near the bottles of wine if anyone wants any of that.

"It has been a while since I have seen you last," the kitsune says softly as she comes up beside of Doc, eyeing the table with a little smile trying to find something to nibble upon.

"It has been." Doc smiles and nods his head, as he is also looking for something to snack on. Will has picked out quite the assortment, it seems. "How are you?"

Picking up a little finger sandwhich she tastes it giving a little smile and nibbling again. "I," she says once she is able to, "fair well all things considered. And yourself?" That warm smile is again turned back to Doc with studying blue eyes.

"Been spendin' most of my time here. Went to Sherwood to help Will out a bit ago, but been mostly avoiding goin' home. Though I did go today."

Doc also decides to try a little finger sandwich and isn't used to little bite sized portions like this. He studies it with a hint of amusement before he takes a bite.

Oh now that's news to Inari! A mental note is made to speak with Will later about it too. "Oh? How interesting. I do hope you two managed to stay out of most trouble?" There's a grin- a very sly little grin- with that statement. If she knows Doc and Will, trouble found them.

"It is good you have been able to return home, Doc-san. My own return will be coming up in a matter of days should plans go as wanted."

"What are your plans?"

Doc smirks a little at the mention of trouble.

"Outlaws need to band together inna'time of need, all I did was go to help and we managed alright. Took a lick on the knee but I'm fine now."

"Oh..well.." looking around the party she hates to say it or even mention it. So all she does is frown a little. A few more little treats vanish as she sneaks a few into the cloth sling around her back which, after a second, produces a little burp then giggle.

Finally she manages to find her voice. "There is trouble in my world now that I must deal with. Will-san has asked to come to help as well as a few others." Even if she is dreadfully worried about the three who have agreed to go back to Japan!

Doc arches a curious eyebrow at the sling as it...giggles. That's rather strange.

"Miss, if you're in need of any assistance I can try an' give..."

A hand lightly touches Doc's arm, her smile having seemed to become a little forced and her words low. "I could not ask you to risk yourself in this, Doc-san. As I have told Will, Ryu, and others this will not be like battling against regular foot soldiers.."

Inari is touched with the thought that he wants to help. However, the want to keep Doc and the others safe is rather strong.

Will's glad to see Doc, he hasn't told him his hard news yet, so grabs a beer and gives a tired yet bright smile,

"Eve, Doc, glad to see ye 'ere."

"Wouldn't miss it, made sure t'keep a door cracked so I could be sure to be back in time for all the celebration." Doc smiles a little. "But you shouldn't be wearin' yourself out just yet!"

"Oh that just been sleepin' oddly is all, naught for ye to worry 'bout."

Will's smile dims a fair bit and he takes a long drink before saying more quietly and rather quickly,

"Found out Molly willna be comin' back to the Bar."

"Why...but if s'knows that you're gonna be here why wouldn't she come back?"
