Today is the big day.

James is so excited. Everything is ready, and the cake looks amazing - it's almost so good, he isn't sure he can eat it (of course, he'll get over that soon enough ( Read more... )

"There should be," he says thoughtfully. "And in case there isn't, there's another one for just in case. I didn't put it on the table yet."

He laughs. "And if there's a lot left over, we can eat it!"

"I'll be glad to help!" he says excitedly. One of the best things about birthdays is the presents.

"Did you see mine yet? It's kind of small, but...I hope you'll like it!"
