The door opens and a little girl, stone-faced and contained, slips through. Then she pauses, sniffing the air. Something is not right here.
She looks down, checking the mission watch on her arm. It has apparently frozen at 21:34.
Hmm.
She reaches back to re-open the door, as this is obviously not where her target was planning on holding his press conference.
The doorknob fails to turn.
X-23, newly blooded weapon of The Facility, fails to react, at least outwardly.
Her inward reaction is anybody's guess.
If this takes too long, there will be a session with Kimura waiting for her when she gets back.
