There is a dog seemingly eating a man in the bar.

More precisely, Cooper seems to be being eaten by Nelly's fur as he's dozing faintly on one of the couches with her near the fire.

He's wearing new clothes, so it's obvious that he's been home and back (if Nelly didn't tell you as much) but it's hard to say where he's been. That being said,

Nancy likes all the animals she's likely to meet, for the most part. Dogs, cats, anything else harmless.

Giant dogs that look like they could eat a small child whole do not quite fall in this category. She's eyeing Nelly warily from across the room.

Nelly tilts her head and looks back. Huh?

Nancy keeps her distance.

Nelly seems content to leave the girl be and flops her head onto Cooper, licking at his shoulder. He stirs a little, but doesn't wake up.

...well, that looks like more of a hopeful sign. She's not attacking him anyway.

There's still the concern she'll smother him in his sleep, though. Nancy approaches by a few paces.

"Mister?"

There's a murmur.

"Mmmmcows?"

One blue eye opens and peers up at her. Nelly just watches her curiously.

"...no cows", she says after a brief blink, amused. "But you've got a dog on you."
