There is a dog seemingly eating a man in the bar.

More precisely, Cooper seems to be being eaten by Nelly's fur as he's dozing faintly on one of the couches with her near the fire.

He's wearing new clothes, so it's obvious that he's been home and back (if Nelly didn't tell you as much) but it's hard to say where he's been. That being said,

She's just licking his toes because... because she has to. Yup.

Magic isn't made of stone, after all. There are some things she just shouldn't be expected to resist.

Cooper sits up and reaches for weapons that aren't there before rolling his eyes as he realizes just why his feet are soggy.

"Oh," he says. "Hello."

And he hold out his hand for a sniff before he gives Magic a pat.

Magic wags her tail hopefully. She's forever trying to get in good with the Milliways patronage as a whole.

She gets steak, sometimes. Those are good days.

He looks around.

"Your mum around anywhere or you just hungry?"

Mostly just hungry. Magic is always hungry. She is the original bottomless pit.

There is a smallish pyro taking out her frustrations on a rather carbonized hunk of metal that used to be a proper circuit board at a table not too far away, but she doesn't have food. Thus, Magic's loyalties have shifted.

Feed the not starving dog, Coop. You know you want to.

He looks from Nelly, who's peering at him mournfully because he NEVER feeds her either, to Magic.

"Fine. Steaks all right?"

But he's already walking to the bar and ordering.
