[OOC: You know when your life sucks.
Sometimes to remind you just how much your life sucks, they throw in a festival.
But instead of getting a nifty, neat episodic conclusion, Marian found The Door. Which meant returning to work in the House of Arch for Little Lady Ingress. Which ended of course, naturally and normally. But almost produced a tantrum to the best of Marian's repressed ability.
Which led to an intensely strange--with the ability to be both terribly amazing and terrifyingly bad--conversation. ]
If you're following, this means Marian has not been having the best sort of day.
But security shifts occur, regardless of the happy or not happy of the security officer presently charged for duty. At one of the tables in the middle of the Bar there is a well-dressed, medieval, maid sitting at a table, with her shiny badge, who seems out of sorts.
It might be hard to tell which is the better distraction of the night: her engagement ring or her tea cup.
