After arriving home from his little trip with the Rani, Axel doesn't waste time contemplating the scenery. Although he has a certain appreciation for the turning leaves, he's much more interested right now in settling by the fire with a nice pot of pepper tea.
He deserves a chance to be lazy for a while, he thinks.
Anyone with a sharper-than-human-normal sense of smell will probably notice the smell of blood, and some sharp not-smell - Heartless, for those who would recognise it - layered over his usual ashes and burning things.
So before too long, he's stretched out on the couch, a pot of pepper tea not cooling nearby, along with a plate of food Bar had sent along.
