A few moments later, there's another noise and another desperate (and oddly well-choreographed) scramble to avoid indecency.

"Well. I'm glad that's over."

[badboybutterman]

"'Eeyyy, you've got two legs again!" Danny cheers and punches him on the shoulder.

[uksupercop]

"And you're considerably less hairy."

[badboybutterman]

"Thank goodness for that, cos I don't think I'd've handled a flea bath very well."

"I think we should just be grateful nobody got neutered."

[badboybutterman]

"Safe to say there won't be any puppies runnin' 'round who have my eyes."

It's a lucky thing Nicholas isn't drinking anything at the moment, or it would have been spat all over the bar.

"Well... I should hope not."

[badboybutterman]

"...........They'd be cute, though, wouldn't they?"

"..Yes. Well. I think that's a safe assumption to make."

Nick suddenly seems to be very interested in something... over there.

"Oh hey!" He pushes a pile of folded clothing and a pair of shoes into Nicholas's arms. "Bar took care o' your stuff."

There's a slightly uncomfortable pause.

"Better take care of that, then."

[badboybutterman]

"Oh hey! Look, Bar gave us matching bathrobes!"

It should be no surprise by now that the smallest things will delight Danny.

It's endearing. Kind of.

"Makes sense, doesn't it? We usually match when we come in here."

[badboybutterman]

"Nice that she knows us so well. So, shall we go upstairs to change, then?" He starts for the stairs, clutching his belongings.

Nicholas follows a few steps behind.

"...So. Puppies, eh?"

[badboybutterman]

"Uh huh. Cute ones. With spots."

They disappear up the stairwell.
