A lavish assortment of sushi is displayed on the Bar.

Any brave soul who dares draw near should note the somewhat menacing presence of the not'cat with the pair of chopsticks nearby.

...Only somewhat menacing, for Yrael currently seems unable to choose which he wants to eat first.

There was a wizard stopping by, and eyeing the assortment most oddly.

"What is *that?*"

Yrael glances at him, smirking. "That's a more complicated question that I think you know."

"That," he points at each with the chopsticks, "is salmon. That is tuna. That is flying fish roe. That is salmon roe. That is octopus. That is inari, but don't let any of the Foxes know..."

Draco thinks Yrael is putting him on.

"I've had salmon before, it doesn't look like that. And octopus? Urgh, why?"

He also stared at the inari, "What does foxes have to do with it... oh, well is it called inari then?"

"Octopus is good, if it's made right. It's far too chewy, otherwise."

Yrael tilts his head, eyeing the inari sushi. "My introduction to sushi came by way of Lady Ako the Kitsune, who... was very protective of the inari sushi. She said that Foxes have often been known to go to great lengths to get it."

Pause. "It's okay." Not as good as sushi with actual fish, in other words.

"And what exactly is sushi?" Draco still leery of eating anything that includes octopus.

"Fish and rice, usually. Try it, it is lovely." He'll even share for the sake of getting another person to know and love sushi.

Draco eyed the spread dubiously, and tried one of the salmon ones. Stabbing it with a fork so slight mess before eating it. Well, he doesn't know chopsticks either.

Chew, chew. Swallow. Odd, but not bad. Awfully fishy though, but he supposed it was the point.

"I guess it's all right."

Fishy? Landlord forbid that Bar not serve sushi fresh enough to be free of any overly fishy smells or tastes. One doubts Bar would stand for it.

"It's better with soy sauce," for those who don't normally like raw fish, he explains. "Dip it in a little before eating. It accentuates the flavor."

The little dish of soy sauce has the tiiiiiiniest bit of wasabi in it. :D

And just to add to the fun, Draco noticed a lump of something green. Ooh, he usually liked green things. So he helped himself to that, and another roll dipped in the soy sauce.

And then....

"Aaaagh!" Merlin it burned! He almost expected smoke to come out of his ears from it, and tears were in his eyes as his sinuses burned out from the wasabi.

Yrael waits a good three seconds.

"Careful, that's a bit spicy," he say, sedately.

Draco glanced around, and used Aguamenti to fill a conjured goblet with water. Then he furiously swallowed it down quickly, and coughed a few times afterwards.

"You could said that sooner!"

"I didn't feel like it," he smiles sweetly. "You deserved what you got, taking all of my wasabi like that, without asking."

Bar supplies a small saucer with another glob of the green on it.

"Thank you, dear Bar," he says.

"It was green. Usually that's good things. Didn't know it was going to burn so." He folded his arms in front of himself grumpily.

"Arsenic is also green," he says, cheerfully.

Draco snorted, "So is absinthe, and I like that well enough."

"Whatever your poison, it will probably be green, knowing you," Yrael shrugs.
