Ingress is in the mood for coloring tonight. So she's sitting at a table with a bag full of papers and a few coloring books.

She also has her glitter crayons.

Come over. She'll probably draw you a picture.

It's Ingress! She'll help Salazar with the skin problem, right?

"Lady Ingress- It is I, Master Salazar, do you remember me?" Salazar the Snake slithers over toward her table slowly, being sure to stay in front of her, and just far enough away so that she doesn't feel threatened.

Ingress is quite used to the concept of snakes talking. She just usually can't understand them without Tom translating.

"Hi Master Salazar. I do remember you. Did you turn into a snake all by yourself, or did someone do it to you?"

Salazar decides against replying with 'If someone did this to me, I would have eaten them and changed myself back,' because really, that's not pleasant.

"I believe Bar did this to me." He slithers closer, blinking up at her. "May I bother you for a favour, Lady Ingress?"

"Oh, Bar does that kind of thing a lot. Tom says she likes to play jokes. Sure, Salazar. I can try to help."

"Would you be so kind as to get something to cut away the skin from my back?" He slithers closer still, so she can get a good look at him.

"I would ask someone else, but I dare not trust anyone but those I know closely."

The absolute last thing Salazar needs is someone snipping his head clean off.

"If you think it unsanitary, and wish me to find someone else, I will certainly not think any less of you. I imagine I am quite hideous in this current state."

"Are you sure that will work?"

"I am not sure, to be honest." But it itches. So he'll try anything. "Do you have any ideas?"

"I don't think I better cut your skin. What if you start bleeding?"

"Ah, this is a true thing- perhaps we shall try for something else." But then he sees the bag and books. "Lady Ingress, what is it that you are attempting there?"

"I'm coloring. It's fun. Maybe Tom could do magic and change you back. But if Bar did it, he might not be able to."

"I imagine so." Lazily. "Oh, Lady Ingress, I was asked a question by Lady Madaeze, do you remember her? She is my wife, and the mother of my baby girl. She asked if I could ask you what baby girls like to play with. Mine is nearly two."

Salazar is lying, of course- he's the one that has no idea what babies like.

And, worse yet, she's teething.

"I remember her! She's nice."

As for recommending toys, Ingress might not be the best to ask, but she'll try. "I bet she'd like dollies and rattles and sparkly things."

Salazar makes a note of those things. Couldn't hurt to try.

"I suppose, if you wished, you could come see her? She is much bigger now." And Salazar might actually release the death grip long enough for people to hold her this time!

"Okay! Maybe when you're not a snake anymore, huh. I bet Tom would like to go, too."

"Of course, if he wishes. I have some things I'd like to give him if he'd like them. Some scrolls with the names of our family members on them. And some boring old books, nothing like what you have there."

[ooc: am crashing, fade/wrap/slow-time? Up to you.]

"I'll tell him. If you're not better, I bet he'll come and help you. I have to go home now, anyway, so I'll tell him as soon as I see him."
