There are two pups in the bar - two completely unrelated pups who don't even know the other exists, because really, why would they? They have nothing in common.

On the one hand, there is a Remy, sitting atop the bar's surface, just people-watching and more or less enjoying a lazy day off.

Remy turns in YT's direction, for a moment rather stunned to actually find another rat who isn't waitstaff here.

But then something about what she says makes him realize that this must be another case of the turned-into-animals thing - the same sort of magic that happened to turn Linguini into a squirrel.

"...actually, no. I'm always like this."

"Yeah." Okay, he should not be finding some sort of offense from that.
"And you were turned into an animal magically, right?"

"I'm Remy," he says, introducing himself in return.

"I admit, coming here and seeing so many animals - it was a little weird. Didn't exactly expect it."

Remy raises an eyebrow (or well, the rat equivalent of one).

"What do you mean, exactly? Free food? So do you know what could've happened, then?"

"Seriously?" Remy blinks. "I guess I'll be careful about what I eat around here, then - in the future."

Free things, anyway.

"And possibly avoid whatever happened this time, too." Though he has to wonder what would happen to an animal in this case. Would the opposite occur?

He isn't too worried about the food bit - he's always had a very good sense of smell (that's why he was given the job as Poison-Checker, after all), but the unknowns of this situation are a little harder to predict.

He nods. "So, what kind of things did the free food do to patrons before, exactly?"

Remy looks at her almost rather incredulously. Somehow all of that seems so hard to believe - but then, he has to remember where he is. (And then it all makes sense, oddly enough.)

"If anything can be said of this place, it's that it certainly never gets boring," he muses, tapping his chin in a most human-like way.

Remy starts to chuckle.

"I'll take that as a compliment. I'm sure my dad would be pretty proud of that fact. He's kept the clan going strong for a long time, now."
