And that's what Prime is doing, sitting in a chair, practicing with his electric guitar. Please note, those who have not seen him before, that right now he appears to be about seven feet tall.

He's getting better with the guitar, too.

Bother at will.

Well, he doesn't look exactly like the cartoon/comic version, and poor FX is from 2003 (He's still eagerly awaiting the release of The Return of the King, poor guy.). But there's enough of a resemblance given the heads-up he's gotten from Ray.

"iiiiiiiIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

Look out, Optimus! You're about be glomped by James Dean.

Optimus is actually singing as he plays. "...you've been put to the test but it's never enough..."

And then the hug. Thankfully, this is Optimus Prime, who is pretty mellow right now.

"...do I know you? Or is that you know me?"

"OhmygodohmygodIt'syouRaywasrightyou'rehereyou'rehereyour'rehere!"

Mellow is good. It counterbalances the total, geeky spaz-out.

[autocommander]

"Oh, you're a friend of Ray's." The guitar is set down carefully.

"Would you like some scotch?"

There is a man of obvious ancient origins who takes a seat near Prime.

He listens to the strange instrument that is being played and rests his own harp on his knees.

He is blind.

Prime notices the man's attention, and doesn't understand things like blindness. But he keeps playing.

To someone who is a musician, Prime is going from incompetent to hobbyist.

"what is that instrument you are playing," asked Tegid .

The notes catch the attention of a small blue alien who quickly wanders over to investigate. There's a robot in the bar.

He's seen robots before (and has a rather found memory of the reaction the robot dignitary had to his appearance in the council chamber way back when. Most of his pre ʻohana days are best not thought about and so he doesn't. But that robot's scandalized wrenching is a memory he still snickers about.

The fact that this particular robot is strumming away on a guitar seems a bit odd. But it also triples the intrigue.

"Hiiiiiiiii." He looks up toward the autobot's face, wearing his trademark grin of questionable intent.

[autocommander]

Prime looks down, stopping playing.

"Hello," he replies pleasantly.

The pause is taken as invitation to climb on to the table. Once there, he snuffles briefly in Optimus' general direction and then eyes the guitar.

Robots are robots, they all smell pretty much the same to him. And this one has utterly failed in being alarmed at his appearnce. Phooey. But guitars are another matter entirely. guitars are down right interesting.

"Bootifa." Very cool. He points at the guitar and nods in appreciation.

[autocommander]

"Thank you." He plays a bit more, a somewhat jauntier tune.

And don't be sad - Optimus tries not to be alarmed. Stitch isn't alarming. Unicron is alarming. It's all relative.

From the Observation Window comes an entity every Transformer alive or dead will know, no matter what continuity-universe they come from.

...PRIME...

How delightful! He ... was going to head outside, but, since Optimus Prime is here...

There is a sudden chill in Prime's spark. And he looks around, confused...

...until he sees Unicron, and freezes.

He does have that effect on people...

OPTIMUS PRIME. SO. YOU ARE IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. AS I SENSED YOU WERE.

Pause for effect.

YOU ARE NOT HAPPY TO SEE ME? he says with mock sorrow.

[autocommander]

"I am." It takes a moment for him to get his bearings again.

"Few Cybertronians would be happy to be visited by an incarnation of the Nullspark."

A robot playing guitar? Of course this is bound to attract attention from the most brutal rhythm guitarist in the world.
Toki Wartooth, however, wasn't playing his guitar, oddly enough, and was sitting down at the bar, writing a little note to a certain someone for a lovely evening well spent, a brau to one side.

Or was, at least, before he caught ear of a guitar and looked up to see OMG ROBOT.

"Dats is totally metal!" He blurted out.

[autocommander]

Optimus looks up. And he pauses.

"Do you know someone named Skwisgar?" he asks curiously. "You have the same accent."

[oh_wowee]

He nodded, "Ja, I knows Skwisgaar, he and me are pals, we plays in de same band togethers. But he's Swedish, I's from Norway." He smiled, "My names is Toki. Sorries if I seems real excited, but I never sees a robot plays de guitar before."

[autocommander]

"I am Optimus Prime. Skwisgaar helped me with learning to play the guitar. And I'm afraid some accents sound very similar to me, so I apologize if I offended you."
