"Gallivanting," Asar-Suti said. "I found I rather know it all by now. There's this big root in the forest over which I'd stumbled thrice since I first came to Milliways."
"I think it's supposed to be a dog." Guppy says with a grin. "Sort of acquired it. Sparky, sit."
The fluffy thing sits. It looks something like a black and white spaniel crossed with a chihuahua and stands just under a foot tall. It also has a mop of black curls and looks suspiciously like its owner in dog form.
