Aunt Em and Uncle Henry didn't believe Dorothy's excuse for coming home with no post-hole digger, of course. They didn't believe in Oz, why should they believe in Milliways?
At least she didn't get in too much trouble, although she did have to go to bed without supper that night.
At any rate, Dorothy's back in the Bar again. At the moment, she and Toto are playing tug-of-war with an old leather strap. The game elicits energetic growls from the dog and delighted giggles from the girl.
