Now as he comes into the bar proper he is glad to see Elisa though he can only offer her a tired smile. He has been here too long and wants to return and seeing that she is upset does not help.
"Elisa, what is wrong?" He asks as he approaches her.

He was comforting, simple as that. "Funerals today...then back to tracking down the lasers."

"It's bad" she couldn't really get past that point with the threat of tears.

He turns back to her and rests his hand on hers that is on his shoulder. "I am sorry this has happened Elisa. I should be there to help you now."

"It was daytime when I left, else I'd take you up on that" she sighed. Hell, she was contemplating it anyway, the second funeral would carry through to the evening...

Would he be seen by others before turning to stone? Stone form. It has been so long since that has happened but he would gladly give up that bit of magic that keeps him as flesh to be able to help Elisa and to see his clan again.

The door opened easily enough, leading out into a cemetery studded with statuary. She took his hand to help him through, just in case.

He will be there waiting for her when the funerals are done and the sun has set, ready to help and finish the job he and the clan had started.

She edged easily past the large, crouched gargoyle and ran a hand over his wing "Carlos, this is Goliath. He'll probably be awake by the time the funeral is over, so you'll probably have to handle introductions and explanations..."
