((Very very OOM:
A mission is undertaken. The objectives? Get two scientists safely out of the way, leave no witnesses to anyone aware of their involvement, steal top secret data obtained in very evil ways, let the two scientists trade it to their government for safety, and go back for drinks.
Tom rapidly realizes that Wesker's world sucks, and is followed by trouble. In the meantime,
Wesker has Birkin handed over to Sharpe and Bond and Ryan in much the same way as a kid is dropped off for his first day of school, as the parent realizes they're making things worse hanging around and bolts. Then,
Mary Anne Bell and Semmi fail to follow basic lab safety precautions. It's miraculous that everyone--one a young and untrained scientist--would survive all this. Wesker's canon, at this point in time, fails to have a lot of
miracles in stock. Final tags in may follow according to what muns wish to wrap with. Finally, warnings for violence, violence, more violence, violence, violence, and violence.))
The door opens on a mansion with musty carpeting, old-fashioned lights, and a sort of. . . museum feel to it; to anyone glancing through, it would look fairly innocent. The party that enters has, to summarize their states, had a long night. Some of them will be glad to know they were just paid the remaining fee for their involvement; the remaining survivors will probably just be glad for rest, safety, chairs, and drinks.
Tom will probably be glad to have everyone let go of him.
. . . and then there's Ryan and Deitmar, neither of whom is about to be glad for much at all, for rather different reasons.
