Milliways has been said to be (among other things, not all of them complimentary) a place for minds to meet, a place for genius plans and cockamamie schemes, a place for kindred spirits to find each other

Puck hastily swallows the last of a demon rabbit kebab, eyeing the approaching bunny horde with trepidation.
"Er," he says.
The rabbits, meanwhile, say nothing, but appear to combine bouncing and stalking in a manner that implies, FALLEN COMRADES! WE SHALL HAVE OUR VENGEANCE.
Marian had been walking from the archery field and practice, hair wind scattered from it's lovers-knot and posture relaxed from the work, when she stumbled on the party.
Or, well, the group of people watching the red eyes.
"That doesn't look quite hopefully aimed toward helping with festivities."
Luckily, she'd just come from practice, so she reached over her shoulder for another arrow, knocked the bow and aimed at a bunny before she'd even had time to think about the fact red-eyed-deamon-bunnies were attacking them.
She hoped for either a shot that would distract them or one that wasn't fatally wounding.
Puck grins at Marian in approval, then turns sharply to the rabbit onslaught. A pair of them jumps up at him, but he swipes out with hands that have suddenly developed claws and makes short work of the duo.
A group of rabbits behind them halts, goes into a furry, ominous huddle.
Marian wasn't sure what was more disturbing-- that Puck's hand had just turned into claws, which had mascitated bunnies, or that the bunnies left had suddenly huddled up in a very human fashion.
That didn't stop her though from shooting into the grouping.
"Oh, right, excuse me while I pull out my plans for what to do in case red-eyed carnivorous rabbits attack," Hawkeye snaps, retreating back to get the fire between himself and the rabbits.
Marian almost glared, but didn't because her focus was still on pulling out arrows and staking rabbits into the ground. Her non-lethal tack had worn off with their continued persistence.
"Next thing you'll say he left just to make this more fun."
And apparently, the demon rabbits of the Milliways woods do not enjoy it.
A horde of little red eyes is gathering at the edge of the forest, regarding the bonfire crowd with hostility.

"Not again..."

He frowns, obviously watching the forest.
"What the hell is that," he mutters, to no one in particular.

Benjamin Franklin Pierce is moving away from the red-eyed rabbits.
It doesn't matter in which direction.
Just away.
He may not have known Puck for very long, and he may have taken the Hippocratic Oath, but that can't stop him from killing him, right?

He does, however, have a bottle that he can swing if it's absolutely necessary.
Sometimes, he really hates this place.

... There is one slight problem, however.
That problem is that suddenly, with absolutely no effort and no consent on his part, he finds himself disappearing.
The rabbits blink red eyes for a moment, baffled; then, despite their shrinking numbers, they continue the assault.

Marian fired rapidly two shots one after another, starting to take steps backwards.
"Was there a plan for this contingency?"
