Sometimes even kami need breaks from planing and plotting. Which is why there is a ball of white fluff curled up in one of the tables centers. Two sleepy blue eyes can barely be seen peeking out between what looks like four tails that have helped to create the ball-ish shape of the little kitsune ( Read more... )

When one was shorter than the tables, one had to get creative if they wanted to play with fuzzies.

Hence, Ana crawling up to stand on a chair so that she could bury her face in the fox's side, either purring or attempting to blow a raspberry, difficult to say.

Startled the little white ball of fluff peeks its head out between two of her tails to watch the human-like child burying her face against her furr. She can't help but giggle a little before scooting herself closer to the wee one.

Inari reaches out a paw tapping the table once her head is hidden again towards Ana in a very playful fashion.

There was another purr-or-raspberry before she squealed in delight, poking, gently enough, at the questing paw, "Toes!"

This was clearly the best discovery ever.

*patpatpatpatpat-SCORE! the little white paw made contact with Ana's little hand, laying still long enough for the little child to play with her toes before rolling onto her back and her tails falling away.

Once the form is revealed the little white fox watches Ana from upside down with now two paws playing with the smaller hand.

This was apparently even better. Ana made a noise of complete and utter glee, "Feets!" And then, "Is tail! Four tails!"

This was followed a moment later by: "Hi!"

Turning her head against the table the little kitsune stoped pawing at the smaller hands long enough to grin at the child. "Hello," she says in greeting as her tails twitch and thump against the table. "How are you?"

Then her hands are pawing at the air or hand again- whatever she can manage being upside down.

She laughed again, that full-on belly laugh that only the very young and the very old can manage, batting at the paws in turn.

She was, however, polite and said, "Kickass." Which was followed by pressing a hand to her chest, "Ana." And then pointing at the fox with a curious, "Hm?"

'Kickass' was a word that was new to the kitsune's vocab, but her paws never stop their playing with the child until one falls away in naming. "Ana," the white fox says, somehow managing that curious tilt of her head even when she was upside down.

"Inari."

She nodded slowly at that, just absorbing it before twisting halfway around to point out the goat, "Nan. Is Goat."

You know, just in case Inari couldn't tell.

The goat gets a little curious look as she rolls back onto her stomach, still smiling in a way only a kitsune can manage. So Nan was a Goat. But what was Nan?

"Hello to you as well, Nan," the kami greets Nan with a small bow of her head. Then her blue eyes flickered back to Ana. "Who is Nan?"

Nan's greeting consisted of something almost dismissive and sounding a litle like 'beh'.

Ana had to think about that one, brow creasing, still standing on the chair and leaning most of her upper body on the table. Finally she shrugged, "Just Nan."

Scooting over enough the little fox sits up making room for Ana to join her if she wants too. The table is plenty big enough and strong enough for both of them! "Well just Nan it is then." Though the qanting to ask why she was with a green-tinted goat brought a bubble of giggles up to her fox-ish lips. "Do you like cookies, Ana?"

She brightened at that, pulling herself up onto the table with the minimum amount of kicking, "With ras'ns!"

And even if they didn't start out with raisins, they'd have them before she ate them. Just one of those things.

Cookies were quite a new thing for the kitsune and she had..rather become addicted to them. They were just like rice-cakes..and speaking of rice-cakes...

When a rat passed by she actually whistled a little to it causing the creature to stop and stare. "A plate of cookies with these raisins and a couple of rice-cakes? And two classes of milk." Squeeking a little the rat bound off to fill the order.

Ana would have her raisins!

She blinked at the order, head tilted, finally asking, "Cakes with rice?"

A head shake then, "Rice for soup. And chickens."

"Or for cakes." Giggling the little fox moves to sit back beside of Ana before, in the blink of an eye, there was a woman sitting beside of her. It would he easier to get the food items off said tray this way. "I shall let you try it- they are very sweet."
