Ingress skips in through the House of Arch painting and then around the bar

Molly's powers may be on the fritz at the moment, but her eyes are working just fine. When she sees Ingress' coloring materials, she's drawn to the table like the proverbial moth to a flame.

"Whatcha drawing?"

"Hearts," she says, smiling. It's always nice to meet other kids. "I'm Ingress. What are you called?"

[heromolly]

"I'm Molly Walker."

She looks appraisingly at Molly's hearts. "Those are nice. I like stars, though."

"Stars are nice, but I feel like hearts today. I'm eight. How old are you?"

[heromolly]

"Ten."

She perches lightly in a chair across the table from Ingress. "Can I color with you?"

"Sure!"

She shoves her crayons to the middle of the table and hands Molly a paper.

"You can have more paper, when you need it. Bar can give us more."

[heromolly]

Molly was about to get up and head back through her door to get her own coloring supplies when Ingress' remark stops her. "It can?" Her eyes go wide.

Alas, for as many times as she's been here, no one's fully explained how Milliways works to her yet.

"Uh huh. Have you been here before? Bar can give you whatever you like, but you do have to pay for it. Or your parents. Are you here on your own or is anyone with you?"

[heromolly]

"I've been here a couple times, but no one ever told me that before." True, some of those she talked to were affected by that weird bout of amnesia at the time...

Molly bites her lip at Ingress question. "I'm...by myself," she answers quietly.

[smallestopener]

She looks up, worried. "Are you okay?"

[heromolly]

She nods. "Yeah. I just...get kinda sad. Thinking about my parents. They...they died."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

She colors a little more on the heart, and then gets a new paper.

"Mine did, too. Bad guys came and killed them. It was awful, but it happened when I was little."

Molly looks over at Ingress in mild surprise. "A bad man killed my mom and dad, too," she says. "It was only a little bit ago."

"Did they take you away and keep you in a dark room, too?"

That's what happened to Ingress. She wouldn't wish that on anyone.

[heromolly]

Molly wouldn't wish what happened to her on anyone, either.

"No. The boogeyman came to my house. He killed my mom, then he cut open my dad's head and ate his brain. I watched him do it from my hiding place."

She nods seriously. "They killed my Mummy and I saw, too. My daddy was in a different room, and so was my brother Arch, but my sister Door was gone that day. Then they took me away and hid me, but Door came for me and found me, so I got back home."
