A very good thing indeed. Malfoy anger's very ugly. Just look at Lucius.
And look, somebody brought a bouquet after all. Fragrant mums, lilies, and even some hycinths. Whites, pinks, orange, and yellow. Not his usual colors, but he thought she might like them. There was also a charm to keep them from wilting too soon.
Draco nodded, "Well the Wizarding families who are so very much keep track. My own family has our tree on a tapestry. At least the Black side. My mum told me."
He then leaned forward, and grinned, "Oh it's really brilliant. The potion's complicated, but you can turn into anyone you want. You just need some of their hairs for the final ingredient. It only last for so long so you have to drink more to keep the disguise."
Draco nodded, "Narcissa Black, yes. There's her, Aunt Bellatrix, and Aunt, um, Andromeda. The last of them married a Muggle so nobody talked about her. And Aunt Bellatrix was in Azkaban for most of my life. I only met her a few years ago when she escaped with other Death Eaters."
He added, "And yes, anyone. Well, anyone human, and a wizard or witch preferably. It's not recommended to use animal hair." There might have been a brief laugh at a memory. Guess who told him about Hermione becoming a cat witch?
She remembers the Death Eaters from his talk about Voldemort. That plus the talk about polyjuice potion is making her think very strongly about the Vile Tribe, Xenobia in particular, and the corruption in Vane.

This is much nicer than the roses, to be honest. Nicer to receive them in person.
She asks, almost teasingly, "What did you do, other than make me happy?"

He handed them to her, and then sat down across from her.
"I was thinking there might be a way for you to see some of my world. I'd have to go disguised though of course."
Reply
"Oh, you can't go as Timothy Black, dashing wizard model about town?"
But she nods reluctantly.
"I understand."
And she looks to her flowers. Absolutely lovely.

"So a lot of people keep track of that Pureblood stuff?"
It all seems quite silly to her.
"I gather that polyjuice potion is used for disguises, but how does it work? Can you choose your features, is it random, or is it somehow set?"

Her face falls a little at the description of the polyjuice potion.
"Anyone?" she asks, a little timid.

She quietly mulls over this for a while.

"Mia?"

"I'm sorry. I was thinking about home."
She looks a little away.
"What Vane was like right before the war," she adds quietly.

"Things like that have happened in my world, too. Sometimes they use the Imperius curse though."
He wasn't going to mention kissing up to Umbridge to be a part of her Inquisitorial Squad to make himself look good.

"It is over now, though, and I am fortunate to have Mother back with some part of her memories. She still has her kindness, her warmth."
She closes her eyes again.
"I'm glad to have her back. The real her."
