"Hey, you."

She waves at him from the bar, where she's just now turning away to head for a table.

Kim's smiling, now.

"Long time no see."

Dean grins back, wide and easy.

"Missed me, didja?"

He orders real quick, uncapping his beer and meandering her way.

"Hope it wasn't too hard for you, sweetheart."

"As you can see, I survived just fine," she says dryly. "How're things with you?"

Dean gives her a very obvious once-over.

"Damn fine, yeah."

He grins again.

"Keepin' myself busy--you know how it goes."

Lilly is sitting at a table. Her children are ensconced on the table in their bouncy seats. She's looking at them in a vaguely exasperated way.

"God, I can't believe how often you guys need to eat. Even Mikey's not this bad."

Dean's entrance catches her eye and she waves a hand casually at him.

"Hey, Dean. How goes?"

Dean smiles back, grabbing a beer before he heads a little closer.

He hesitates when he sees the kids.

"Hey, Lilly. Uh.

He looks her over, kinda warily.

"I didn't picture you as a babysitting type."

"I'm not."

Lilly sighs.

"These are actually mine. Aria Moonshine, Adrian Sunbeam, this is Dean. He's kinda a jerk sometimes but he will buy you drinks to make up for it, so remember him when you get older."

Dean's staring now.

"You. Uh."

He scrubs one hand through his hair, lookin' kinda . . . confused.

"I thought you were dead, and all. Uh."

Domino knew that look, she's had that look herself upon finding the bar when she didn't expect it, "You look like a man who could use a drink."

She'd been headed to the bar herself, actually, because of the announcement. She was all for free booze, and not above buying it for other people

Dean's grin is wide and easy.

"You got that right."

Hey, she's hot.

He's all for hot chicks buying him drinks.

"Got a name to go with that drink?"

Oh now she was smirking. Yep. Smirk, all over the place, "Domino." She shrugged as she kicked the chair opposite her own away from the table, "Any kind in particular or whatever they've got on tap?"

"Whatever they got's all right with me."

He swings into his seat, sprawling out comfortably.

"Dean. Winchester."

He'd hold out his hand, but--

Nah.

Peter looks at the man who just stumbled in, and watches his expression change as he realizes where he is.

And makes several logical deductions.

"Bathroom's down that way." There is pointing.

Dean looks at him.

Really looks at him.

"Uh. Thanks, dude."

Yeah.

A pause. Peter's mouth opens.

"...Sorry, I just assumed -- you ever see a family on a really long road trip come into a gas station? You, uh. You looked a little...like...should I change the subject?"

It's been a confusing week.

Dean snickers.

He can't help it.

"Yeah, I know that look. Little brothers're real good at it."

Real good.

Especially Sammy.

Dean still thinks it's hilarious.
