You can tell Karolina's new, because of the gusto with whcih she goes at the food, having discovered the quality Bar serves here. For a vegan who's spent the last three weeks on alien food, not to mentino the months before that on a tight budget shared between six (or five, or six again) people, to actually have all she can eat of quality vegan

"Karolina!" There's a grinning cyborg approaching. "Hey. I didn't know you were here, when did you get here? Have you seen Molly and Gert, yet?"

"Victor!" Karolina glances up with a grin as wide as his. "Hey. I've already been pounced by Molly. No sign of Gert, though. How are you?"

"I'm good! Trapped here. So are Molly and Gert, but other than that, alright. 'S not as if I'm short of food or shelter, here." Not that he probably needs food, really.

Karolina almost frowns, and opens her mouth to ask just that, before she decides it's probably not a good idea.

"I am, too," she says, glancing at the lack-of-door quickly. "They say there's no time passing though, so we're not missing anything."

"Still frustrating. I've been here for months. Molly was here long before me, too."

"Months? That really sucks."

And what sucks worse is Victor and Gert and Molly being here and not Nico.

"No one's tried to break you guys up, though, right? Everyone seems pretty cool."

"Nobody seems to care that much."

Beat.

"I met She-Hulk!" He's almost squeeing.

She blinks, and grins wider, remembering Victor's fanboy-programming.

"Molly said! How was she?"

[diablorobotico]

"Very nice." See him almost bounce? The grin falters for a moment, when he remembers that in at least one future, he might end up killing her. But then it comes back, very quickly.

Not his future. They've fixed that, and Karolina trusts him now. At least, more than a couple of the others did when she left.

"Is there anyone else here I should be keeping an eye out for?"

Wolverine, Captain America, Hilary Clinton?

"Not as far as I know. Oh! Gurpreet. Molly's boyfriend, tiny, shy kid."

Not fair saying that when Karolina has a mouthful of juice! Which she very nearly chokes on.

"Molly has a boyfriend?"

"Yeah. Me and Gert met him - Eight years old, curly hair, very skittish."

[skyhighlucy]

"Eight?"

That's sort of young, but then, she figures, it means it's not the kind of boyfriend she needs to worry about, so much as the one that's just cute.

"That's great. That she gets the chance to be a normal kid here."

"Yeah. Big age difference. But they really like each other, it seems."

"Good," Karolina says, and adds, "not that Mol would have a boyfriend she didn't like."
