There is a small, awestruck gasp.

Then: "KAROLINA!"

A small pre-teen girl flings herself gleefully at the newcomer. Prepare for a Mollyglomp!

Karolina stares for the entire time it takes Molly to throw herself.

"Molly?"

Then she laughs, and catches the mutant, laughing as they gain height in a huge mutual glomp.

"Oh my god, Molly!"

"Karolina ohmyfreakin'God Karolina I've missed you!"

Glee, Molly, glee!

"I hated it when you went away and when I got here they said anyone could turn up here and I always thought you maybe would but it's been ages andandandand you have to meet Fish andand Gert and Vic are gonna freak!"

All delivered without pause for breath, needless to say.

"Slow down, Mol!"

Karolina laughs, and twirls her round in the air one more time, before flying back down again and sitting on one of the couches in this bar place.

"How long have you been in this place?"

"Like... ages." There's a hint of a pout, here. "Nearly nine whole months, I think. Sometimes the door disappears and you can't get back out, but time stops outside so it's okay. Just weird."

Small beat.

"Oh! I'm s'posed to tell you stuff. This place is Milliways. It's a bar at the end of the universe." She points to the Viewing Window. "It's crazy, but it's fun. There's a magic bar that understands what you say and gives you stuff you ask for. There are three rules... which I can't remember. Oops." Molly giggles.

"Oh, wait. No violence in the bar, no outside stuff in the bar, and... no ess-ee-ex in the bar." She blushes, a bit.

Quickly, "And you're new, so your first drink is free."

"Mol, I've only been gone three weeks."

Not nine months. But it might as well be. Karolina wraps one arm around Molly, playing with the ears on animal hat #472. She's just happy to see her.

"No outside stuff? What's outside stuff?"

Molly shakes her head. "You'd been gone three weeks when I fell in here. 's sorta a thing."

The hat's ears wriggle, a little. #472 is one of the ones Death gave her for Hogswatch.

"It's like... if someone you reallyreally hate comes in, you can't beat them up or anything. You have to leave them alone."

Beat.

In a small, determined voice: "But if Alex or someone comes in, they're going through a wall and I don't care what happens after."

You'll have to excuse Karolina. She's staring at the moving hat ears.

But she frowns when Molly says that, and looks back to her.

"Alex is dead, honey."

[ggollymissmolly]

"Yeah, I- I know." Molly looks up at Karolina. "But there are dead people in here too. They're not, like... ghosts, or anything. But they died, and then they turned up here."

Karolina frowns a little. No one mentioned that yet.

"Well, if he does show up we'll kick his ass," she says. "It's not like the laws ever stopped us before, has it?"

Molly grins, suddenly. "Yeah."

Beat. "Karolina, I met the She-Hulk! She was weird, but kinda cool. And she didn't try make to make me go back into care, or anything."

[skyhighlucy]

"Really?"

There's a mixture of feelings there. Joy that Molly's happy, but a sense of wariness that might come fromgetting involved in the She-Hulk.

"What did you tell her, Mol?"

She shrugs. "Not that much. Not how to find us, or our proper names, or anything. I was careful. But she was really nice. She gave me New York hotdogs and everything!"

[skyhighlucy]

"Good."

She flicks Molly's hair affectionately rather than mess with the hat again, and grins again, just happy to see her.

"Did you say Gert and Victor are here? Are the others? Is Nico?"

Molly shakes her head. "I haven't seen her. Gert and Vic're here, though, and I think Chase is, but I haven't really seen him."

Gert and Victor are better than nothing. Gert and Victor and Chase are even better than better than nothing.

"How are you all doing without me?" Karolina asks. "How's Victor settling in?"
