Sheppard has had a long, stressful, man-sized, man-eating bug-filled day. Which would be why, after stepping into Milliways and being mildly surprised at the fact that he's in Milliways yet again, he heads over to the bar and orders a beer.
And a can of Raid.
And a can of bug repellent.
(One can't be too careful.)
And so, Sheppard sets about spraying himself with the repellent, deciding to ignore his beer for the moment in favor of anti-bug tactics. He probably wouldn't mind company of the non-buggy sort.
