Faye is wandering around, trying to find something to do. She misses her friends, and wants to figure out how to go home. Being bound, in her opinion, gets boring after a while.
It feels like one of those "what did the character forget to do? why are they reliving their day over and over again?" type books, and frankly, Faye is tired of it.

Of course, this one is a tall, well-built man with longish hair that he's pulled back in a ponytail, wandering around and staring intently at a datapad, mumbling names under his breath.
"Maea, no, no good, Martic, eh, Marana, hmm, could be could...Marana Estillo? Marana Pernon? Martic Estillo-Pernon?"
Possibly, he isn't looking where he's going. Possibly, he may bump inelegantly into Faye's arm.

Rial takes a moment to turn off the datapad and stow it in a pocket before sweeping a low bow, coming up with (what he hopes is) a charming smile.
"Ah, my lady, my most humble apologies. I'm afraid I didn't quite see you there...I trust you are not injured? Might I make it up to you somehow?"

His daughter, and that never fails to send him floating off into thought for a moment. He does shake himself out of it fast, though, in time to say "Actually, I'm sorry, I never caught your name. Miss...?"

She holds out a hand. "Faye. Faye Whitaker. And yours?"

He shakes her hand, half-inclining his head again. "Rial Pernon. Nice to meet you, Faye. Any children of your own?"
