"Finally." Ravin hops into a stool. "I want a double." She closes her book, and it vanishes...

[wizard_dresden]

"Sure thing."

I pour the double and slide it over. Man that stuff is weird.

"Thank the skull. Specials tonight were his idea." I hitch a thumb at the skull on the bar.

Ravin raises the glass to the skull in a toast, and drinks. Hmm, booze and bitter roots... just what she needed. "Good choice."

[wizard_dresden]

"I thought so, even if the wizard didn't agree," Bob says.

[lichvell_r]

"Wizards know nothing about the real world." She moves a few stools over to the skull. Nope, not minding Harry being there to hear. "Or very little. They have strange ideas..."

[wizard_dresden]

"Well, yeah. Though Harry does better than most. His wizard practice actually happens in the real world. He just prefers his alcohol to not contain opiates. It makes his cop friends twitchy."

[lichvell_r]

"Hm. That is good, doing real things in the real world. And unless his cop friends are here, why he would worry?" Heck, she must make a note to try opiates sometime. See how they react with her half-undead being.

[wizard_dresden]

Bob snorts. "He's a tightass. One day his brother will do something to get him loaded, until, we'll just have to let him live vicariously."

[lichvell_r]

"I live vicariously enough being half-undead, thank you." She sets her glass down, gesturing for a refill, and lays a solid gold coin on the counter to pay for her drinking.

[wizard_dresden]

"That should get you a couple more rounds, at least."

I refill her glass. "And, really, the skull mostly had it covered with the 'cop friend' bit."

Ravin nods, tilting head,w atching the wizard with those eerie red eyes. "The Skull? It does not have a name?" Things able to think should have names, after all.

"Oh, yeah, that's Bob."

I'm flaky tonight.

[lichvell_r]

She turns back to the skull, and that almost could have been a smile. "Hello, Bob." She takes a sip, perusing the skull closely. "What exactly -are- you?"

"I'm an air spirit."

[lichvell_r]

"Bound to a skull. Any way you look at it, it reveals much about who did it." She glances at Harry, then looks back to Bob. "How long you have been that way, Bob?"

"Whoa now. I didn't put him in there."

"No, Harry didn't do this. And, the skull is a protective location... sort of."

"Yeah, if he's not in the skull, potentially bad stuff coluld happen."
