[pre-Milliways: Subsequent to the events you have just witnessed...]

The front door of Milliways cre-e-eaks open, just a bit. Those looking from the right angle may see the rubble of a demolished building just outside the door.

There are muffled voices:

interesting, huh?

That's awfully reminiscent of a riddle.
Q: What has ten thumbs and is quite fond of the
strange and
interesting?
A: These Guys.

The Five Rogue Loompas stand over the little pot. They've never seen anything like this before, which is a surprise to them really. Oh the things you see and learn when you live in the walls of Milliways.

Tentatively, the leader extends a steel-toed boot and gives the little pot a tap.

All five orange children jump back as one.
The one with braids attempts to hide behind the one with spikes. Spikes is having none of that and pushes the coward to the ground. Glasses leans forward against leader's warning.

The plant manages to right itself by pushing its leaves against the floor.

"Whassamatter?" it says, 'looking' up at the glasses-wearing Loompa. "Never seen a talkin' plant before?"

Helpless perfectionist instinct.

Telemain bends down, and reaches to straighten the pot. Doesn't matter that it's lying inexplicably on the floor, that will be dealt with after it is upright.

The plant remains still while Telemain sets the pot upright.

Then it tries to reach for his fingers.
