( OOM: Skulduggery Pleasant, Detective extraordinaire, gets a surprise visit from a troll while out walking, but gets a little more than he bargained for with a not-so-mysterious door. )

The front door is swung open forcefully and in barrels a rather frantic figure, who is immediately up on his feet again and poised for a fight.

What he spots, ( Read more... )

Ah, but the important question is really: is this skeleton inclined to send Ajedrez insane for having killed a couple of people?

If not, well.

Skeleton-demons on fire wanting to send her insane for not being a nice person tend to take the cake. Normal skeletons, she can handle.

She's seen enough, after all. Doll ones, to be sure, but skeletons none the less.

Still, her voice is just a tad cautious as she says,

"Hi."

The reaction she gets is a simple, slow turn in her direction, a little distracted by the sights of the Bar with it's shiny spaciness.

But the response she gets is not at all distracted and entirely pleasant, "Ah, hello there."

Thankfully this skeleton, though a fire user at times, is not constantly aflame. He would presume being alight all the time would start to give one a headache.

He gets a wave.

"New, senor?"

"Well, I'm not exactly old but, I wouldn't-- Oh! You mean here? Ah yes, yes I am," he responds with a clear amount of humour, tipping the brim of his hat slightly towards her by way of greeting.

"And you're not, I take it?"

[ooc: oh, thank you, notifcations...]

That gets a quick smile.

"No, not really."

( ooc: They are evil, I am sure of it. )

Well, at least he's solved that much. This is clearly to do with the fact he's an elite Detective, and nothing to do with guess work. No really.

"Grand. And uh.. as a not so new lady, I don't suppose you could inform me as to where exactly 'here' is?"

"Milliways, the Bar at the End of the Universe, actually."

"Does it tend to appear in the back of a shed often, then? Never quite heard of a Bar appearing in such places before.." His confusion easily makes way for constant amusement in his voice.

"It's in a different reality, it can appear whereever it wants to."

He nods slowly, peering around the interior before replying, "That would explain a lot. Including why I have suddenly come from a park to a Bar. Well, it's got good timing, never the less."

She raises her eyebrows.

Yeah, that's it.

He returns the favour.

Well, he would if he had eyebrows.

"And would you be the owner of this fine establishment, or a mere patron suited to staring?"

"A patron that has been unable to leave for nine months, and would dearly love to get back because the timing? Sucks. And as far as I can tell, no one has ever seen the Landowner."

"You can't leave?" There's some surprise in his voice at that, because being stuck in a bar isn't always a good thing. Though, some may argue otherwise. "Can't you just leave the way you came?"

"If you turn around, do you see a door?"

He turns rather dramatically, because everything he does have to be noticed, and stares towards the entrance, thankfully to view a door that looks oddly like that of a sheds.

"Sure can. That's a good thing, right?"
