Sharon almost walks past the booth without a second glance but then she doubles back with a smile on her face.

"Hey hows things? haven't seen you in a while."

Guppy looks up, removes earpieces from his walkman and smiles.

"Hey Sharon, I'm okay thanks. How are you?"

He pushes out the seat opposite for her.

She accepts his offer and lowers herself into the seat.

"I'm ok, same as always just waiting for the door."

A sympathetic nod.

"How long have you been Bound?"

"About a month again. Will I be bound everytime I come here or do I get to just come and go as I want?"

"I can't say, sorry." Guppy says apologetically. "I think it varies between individuals according to whether or not you've achieved what you needed to do whilst Bound."

"I still haven't figured out what I achieved last time that i got to go home."

"Yes, would you like to see?"

"Sure." She eyes it, not quite sure of what she's supposed to do with it.

"How does it work?"

"It has batteries in here, and you press this button to play."

Sharon took the CD player form Guppy and puched the headphones into her ears. She gave him a slightly cynical look as if not believing it would work.

She pressed the button and began to smileas she listened. After a moment she took the headphones off and passed them back to Guppy.

"The music is very nice but not as good as the modules we have back home. I'll have to see if I can get one for you sometime."

He smiles.

"It's okay thank you, we have better ones back home too, but all my music is on CD so I'll keep this until it breaks. But thank you for the offer."

Sharon grins at him. There were people in her world who liked the old fashioned gadgets.

"No problem. I guess I'm just used to a much higher level of technoligy."
