Warren warren-ates as only warrens can over a bowl of cereal (at this time of night? Yes.) and a napkin covered in vague numerical scribbles.

Isabel was growing to like this Milliways place. People were friendly and open minded. Time to make a new friend. She looks around and spots a male somewhere close to her own age. He seems strange but...in a way he kind of reminds her of Alex in that geeky cute way. Why not. She sits down across from him. "Hi." She says simply.

He chokes on his cereal and ends up having to spit it back into the bowl, hastily wiping his mouth on his wrist.

Girl. Pretty.

Blonde, sure, but who's counting? Also: talking to him.

"Hey. Hi," he responds, brilliantly, because he's a genius and therefore has yet to master simple conversation with the opposite sex.

Yes, definitely reminiscent of Alex. She smiles even brighter at him. "I'm Isabel. Do you mind if I join you...?"

"Mind? No. I'm not..."

He shoves the cereal and the napkin away, although, obviously she won't be sitting on the table (Bad thoughts, Meers, bad...)

"I'm, uh, Warren. Meers."

Warren spits cereal in this continuity too, because face it, he would. He whirls around.

"Oh. It's you." He sounds pleased, despite his choice of words. "Me? Nothing. You?"

Warren cranes his neck to see the chick as well. Yeah, she was a-okay...

"Yeah? I mean, yeah. But this is just...not anything, really. I get...bored."

Echo looks over his shoulder at his doodles. She smiles, cause she does doodles too.

And in this continuity Warren feels breath on the back of his neck, turns and sees the girl he killed by mistake. Or one of them, anyway.

It's a big night for cereal spitting.

Also gaping in horror.

"I...you..."

"...you..." She tilts her head, very confused. He's acting like the soda-drinking girl from the other day. Digging in the front of her dress, she pulls out a piece of paper and holds it out to him.

"Look I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean it, and it was all something and then things so wh-what...paper?"

He stares at it.

"What?"

Todd stands over Warren.

He grins down at him.

Warren wibbles up at Todd, but mostly only on the inside. Mostly.

"Hey. Todd."

Great balls of fire. The nerd speaks.

"Hey. Warren," Todd intones back, matching Warren's. He pulls out a chair, turns it around and falls into it without asking.

"I'm waiting for someone to tell me about D&D," he grins. "Will it be you?"

"What do you wanna know?" Warren asks, warily, eyeing Todd's fists. They look painful.

As if Warren didn't have enough to deal with, what with the Tara lookalike and Todd, Crichton spots him and heads over. "Hey."

Warren does not spit cereal in response to John Crichton.

"Hey, look, I don't know any more than I did, and...Andrew...something's going on..."

"Uh," Warren stutters, "he's just...he and Meg are having...a thing."

He chickens out, the coward.
