Billy and Cassie are downstairs in a booth.
There's food in front of them but they seem more interested in cuddling than eating. Well, Cassie is. Billy is always interested in food.

But all of a sudden Cassie sits up with an "Oh!" and starts rummaging through her backpack. "I have something for you..if I can just find it.."

Billy grins as he sits, Cassie having gone to the Bar for something. He is content, and happy, and filled with a sense of wonder. Things are working out beyond all hopes of joy.

A Molly (somewhat rounder than when he last saw her) approaches holding a bowl of frozen grapes, and a journal and quill.

"You look like your face will split in two, if your smile gets any wider."

He bounces up and hugs her, belly and all.

"How are you?"

"I'm doing great! You're in a good mood, today! How have you been?"

Somehow, she doesn't think that wide smile is only because they haven't seen each other in a while.

He grins, and blushes, and then holds up one hand. On it, the wedding ring gleams brilliantly.

"Surprise."

Her voice is a loud shriek of elated surprise.

"YOU GOT MARRIED?!?"

She throws her arms around him again and hugs him tightly.

"Congratulations! When did this happen? Where is Cassie? Why wasn't I invited?"

He laughs and hugs her back.

"Yes, thanks, on a trip to go dancing, she is at the bar I think, it was an impulse move?"

He grins as he rattles off the answers.

"I'm so happy for you!"

And then there are tears, but she's laughing through them.

"More of my friends getting married! What could be better?"

He hugs her, then sighs.

"There is some news you might not be so happy about though. Cassie and I... we are going to go back to her world to live, and concentrate on college. We might not be back for awhile..."

he swallows and hugs her again.

"It will be hard missing friends like you, but a new start sounds about right for us."

She wipes her tears away, and nods. A deep breath keeps more from developing, of the not-so-happy sort.

"Education is important. I know what it's like, wanting to be two places at once. You have to go where your heart tells you to go, and make the best life you can for yourselves."

She is sad to see them go. There were so many things she would have liked to say and see and do. She wanted to get to know Cassie better, and all sorts of things that will have to wait, now.

"Do you still have all of your wonderful Captain Marvel powers? Maybe you can come and visit Cain and I in our world, some time?"

Surely there must be a way.

He laughs, then nods.

"You will see us again>"

he winks at her and nods.

"This story? Is far from over."

Then he just grins.

"And who knows, maybe you will come to our world, someday."

"I'd like that." She places a hand on her belly. "I want this one to know all about other places, both like and unlike our world. What if he or she is magical, and can't perform magic at home? I may have to send him or her off to another world to study, or teach it myself, here at Milliways."

Billy smiles at her.

"I a sure you will be great parents! And I am sure it will be a wonderful adventure."

He chuckles.

"Life is... what we make of it, really. And it is good, right now."

"I'm glad to hear it. I'll have him or her calling you Uncle Billy and Auntie Cassie before you know it. I'll have to ask the Bar to find a way to send you pictures and updates, even if you can't be here."

He smiles and nods.

"You never know what Bar can do. Whatever happens, it has been a good thing, knowing you."

She hugs him again, tears shimmering, both happy and sad, and completely uncontrollable at this point.

"You and Cassie are good together. I could see how much you mean to each other after seeing you together for only a few minutes. I know you'll be happy."
