"You might not remember me. But we haven't spoken in a long time, but ... Our daughter just found me. Did you hear what I just said? She's alive."

"We need to talk....Nathan, are you still there?"
Nathan had been putting in a late night at the office, having to check over some print ads for the campaign when he got a phone call from the past. Someone he never expected to hear from again. Because as far he had known, she was dead. Her, and ....
How can this be happening now? And what could he do? She claimed to just want money, but he owed her. Owed them more.
He thought he was heading out to leave, only to walk into the bar again. He paused in the door.
Aw hell, he needed a different kind of distraction right now. He stepped in, and let go. If the door vanished, well, that's that for now. Not like it won't show up again. Right now, he needed a drink, and he had some hard thinking to do.
