Some people end up curled up infront of the Window with a beer, no appetite and a lot of recriminations. Coulda, woulda, shoulda -- didn't. He thought-- thuoght-- he was over this. And he probably was.

... sometimes, it doesn't pay to come down in into the Bar. Espceially not with the door taunting you, telling you here's something else for you to screw up. There's not enough beer in the world... Not not that he's worked up the will to drink the one in hand, anyway.
