Johnny...is in a bit of a mood.

Which is why he's got a portable DVD player with white ear-buds. He's actually deep in thought and not paying attention to the movie.

Passersby will witness unmitigated gore. It's the original Hills have Eyes movie ( Read more... )

"So! Totally sorry about having to run off and leave last time, but- oooh, that's gonna sting," says Belar, looking at the screen. "Ow."

Johnny, is totally absorbed in the story when the "Ow." comes outta nowhere, "...Whut?"

"Sorry. Watching over your shoulder. You know, the last time I saw anything like this was... oh, gosh. Southern Cthol Murgos. The Raveners were on the move and it was just nasty."

There is a man on fire. It's a Wes Craven Film.

Johnny winces before turning the DVD player off, "Raveners sound like a bad horror movie title. That bad?"

Draco was walking past when he heard the scream, and yelped with surprise.

Oh, wait, some muggle device... Well that's stupid to have it so loud in here.

Johnny half turns when he hears the yelp.

"...You all right?"

Zarathos is preoccupied with "Would the children of people who grew up in toxic zones be responsible for their actions?"

Draco scowled at that, "No, you shouldn't have things like that so loudly in here! And what is it anyway?"

By way of response, Johnny turns the player toward Draco, "It's a DVD player. Watch."

He hits the play button again. Just in time for Doug Bukowski to put an axe into a malformed human head.

A scream... and not of his doing?

Of course this makes him turn in the direction to where that delightful sound is being emitted from, but once he finds the source of it, Blackheart frowns. And even worse, Johnny Blaze is staring with a dimwitted expression at a small screen.

Ah violence.

Interrupted by a very real wrenching in his gut.
Do not turn around.

Johnny listens to every human instinct he has and doesn't turn around.

His presence is known, Zarathos' begs to wake up, and Blackheart can sense both the demon's and mortal's awareness.

Normally he'd be more than happy to wake the rider and fight, but there is hesitation in his posture.

"So I see Mephisto has found no use for you anymore," he mocks.

Johnny swallows, "...Y-Y-Yeah."

He's still not turning around. His hands squeeze the edge of his chair. Is that...smoke?

Bar's more then ready to urge Johnny out of his chair and get outside.
