[OOM: A murderer's been caught, but Sam still has a few questions to ask her boss.]
Once again, there's a pub on the other side of Detective Chief Superintendent Foyle's office door.
This time, when she opens the door, Sam blinks -- and beams.
(It's always nice to know that you haven't been dreaming about a bar that suddenly appears behind a door in your workplace.)
She hurries over to the bar, and rummages for some change in the bag that holds her gas mask. She'll get her wages tomorrow (and her new ration-book will be coming soon as well), so she can't spend too much on dinner tonight, but a shilling will be enough for a half-pint and a light dinner with a few pence left over.
