[OOM: I have been a word in a book.
Nita leads her friends to the New York Public Library, and the Rose Reading Room. There -- after a little creative searching with Havelock's help -- they retrieve the Book of Night with Moon, and begin their wizardry.
But things don't go entirely as planned, and when an old friend puts in an appearance, Nita's friends quickly find themselves fighting.
Meanwhile, Nita and the Whisperer are fighting the Lone Power with the most basic form of wizardry: words. The Lone Power attacks the others, and Nita finally breaks away to do what she has to do--
And is interrupted. The Whisperer finishes Her task, though, which leaves the group with one question: What about Nita?
In the end, help arrives from some not-entirely-expected quarters, and the group returns to the bar slightly worse for the wear, but successful.]
