Normally, Jennifer Walters always has a somewhat stable portal to Milliways from a certain infamous restaurant in New York City. It's a gamble; half the time when she opens the door to Pascha's she gets Milliways, and the other half she gets five star and five alarm tandoori chicken, pakoras, and naan. Either way, she usually has an interesting

It's green. Why is it green? It takes him a few minutes to connect 'green beer' and some sort of Irish heritage festival. But still, he's not sure if he appreciates the Irish co-opting his beer.
After peering at it suspiciously for a little longer, he tries it. Well. Still tastes good!

"Hi there, Bar entity. I'd like something exotic, something otherworldly, something unexpected....a Michelob, please."
Then she notices a long braid two stools away, attached to a person that she recognizes and is quite happy to see. Cue a somewhat stealthy Shulkie sneaking up on Duo, then looming.
"Hey, kiddo."
Reply
Duo grins up at her. "You match my drink. Funny, you don't look Irish."
Reply
"If you pinch me, you're going down, Duo. Are you even old enough to drink?"

"Come from a wild party?" He asks, standing beside the seat next to her.
Reply
"Hi, Red. You betcha it was a party. In Reno, no less."
She gives her hair a small shake, hoping that the last bits of dust won't somehow transmigrate over to Hellboy and attach themselves with fervor.

She eyes him for a moment; she's pretty sure that Hellboy, although he's never said so, is in her league when it comes to heavy hitting.
And he has those wonderful broad shoulders.

But at the sight of green skin, Jen's eyes widen with delighted surprise right back.
"Hiya," she says, raising her bottle of beer. "You're the first green person I've seen here."
Reply
"And you're the first one I've seen that I'm not related to in any way..." She raised her own glass of Fuzzy Logic, grinning. "Dot Matrix. Pleased to meet you."

She pats the stool next to her.
"Join me, while you spill the family tree, Mormon style?"

Still, she is a friend, or was.
So, he watches.

Below that hair, a handsome face that she last saw during a somewhat awkward and strained exchange between two groups of people that would have rather been elsewhere.
It doesn't matter; Milliways isn't attached to the United States, and Jen, as an upholder of the law, also knows when she isn't supposed to be upholding it, namely outside terra firma America.
She stands, and walks over to his table.
"Nathan Christopher Charles Summers Dayspring Askani'son."
She holds out her right hand.

"Jennifer Walters. Fancy seeing you here. Buy you a-- another drink?"
He offers a grin to her, eye flashing. A wait rat jumps, and scurries off to grab what he has ordered, quietly.
He gestures with his other hand toward a seat.

And then there's his grin, which either means that he's conquered half of Europe by now or is genuinely full of goodwill.
So she clasps his hand and gives it a little squeeze, then sits down.
"Hiya, Nate. Neutral territory, okay?"
Reply
"Wow!"
Cue 18 year old Alex Rogan, who stares, and blinks, and almost drops his drink.
"Wow...."
Yeah, a bit eloquent, eh?
Reply
"Wow back. Need a hand with that?"
Normally, she'd not call attention to someone almost pitching their drink, but he's so cute.

He gapes for a moment longer, then blushes bright read and puts his drink down.
"Ah--"
Then he shakes his head and smiles.
"Sorry. Never seen a woman so beautiful before."
Well, or green, but still, the first hold true too!

Jen gives a look around, in illustration.
"I may be the hottest one here right now, but I'm sure a nerve-shattering blonde will walk in any second, and then what are you going to do?"
