And there is (lately) a Fran who wanders by.
Well, if Sayid hits her, she'll punch back is all. She fights dirty if not well.

"Happy St. Patrick's Day," she says cheerfully.

Sayid blinks.

"It's St. Patrick's Day?" He's lost track of the date on the island, and he's never really celebrated the holiday before.

"...that would explain why my sandwich is green, wouldn't it?"

In his defense, it had still smelled edible.

"It should. I got green beer and ice cream, though it was still chocolate flavored."

"I think," says Sayid dubiously, "that this is the most unappetizing holiday I've ever experienced."

He offers a wry smile.

"All in good fun, though, I suppose."

"The singing's the best part," she agrees. "Maybe the snakes, too."
