John's yelling wakes Will up and he stumbles over to him, looking medieval and bleary and holding his staff, "Would ye keep down, was tryin' to sleep?'

John's staring.

Oh, John is staring.

"Oh, I'm so sorry that I woke you! Please, go back to dreaming of oppressing my country a bit more!"

[will_scarlett]

"What the bloody 'ell are ye talkin' bout, I'm an outlaw, goes the other way round,"

Will's still not fully awake, but no one has ever accussed him of oppressing anyone, hurting, stealing from yes but not oppressing.

"An outlaw," John exclaims. "Why am I not surprised?"

"'cause ye sound like a pillock, I'm Will Scarlett and if ye yell could ye not do it quite so loud,"

Will is trying to sound reasonable but he just had one the best night's sleep in a while and really hates that tone of voice and being woken up by yelling.

John has to bite his tongue on this one, oh yes.

"Ye sound like an overeducated bastard, don't look like it, but ye sound like a bloody lord, so be good enough to not insult me in the mornin',"

Will is not a morning person and brain hasn't quite kicked in yet and he's lost his temper since he really hates condescending men and is looking a bit more closely at John, but not that much.

John Adams will not hesitate to choke a bitch!

Or beat one with his cane, in this case.

"And you sound like an undereducated Brit," he yells, eyes narrowed. "What's the matter, destroying what could be a great country not enough for you?"

"Tisn't that the job of Prince John and 'is toadies?"

If John wants a fight he can have one, Will has his staff and is waking up angry.

"... you mean King George?"

[will_scarlett]

"Nay, Prince John's ruinin' England while King Richard's at the crusades,"

Will says slowly as if explaining to someone very stupid, he'd yell again but doesn't think it would help.

"Aw, bloody 'ell, first time 'ere, this is Milliways, tis a part of Faerie, get people from all times and places. Where in the 'ell did ye drop in from?"

Will is trying to be understanding sort of, but still yelling in the morning isn't good. So again with the slow voice with a lot of just deal so you'll shut up.

John can be very thick-headed, when he wants to be.

"Tis a magic 'aven with good food and such though yer not supposed to fight in 'ere, do that outside. Ye came through a door and it'll take ye back to the moment 'fore ye left,"

A rather long pause after explaining still in the its early in the morning and I'm trying to be helpful voice,

"Where's that?"
