Now tigers, of any kind, officially rock as far as he's concerned. He looks up and smiles thoughtfully. "Ah. Good day."

He looks like a human but doesn't smell like one!

Tiger curiously peers at him.

"Hello!"

The words are a help, though he'd be just as pleased to see a great cat that wasn't chatty; just a little more cautious.
"Hello." He inclines his head. "Are you new here, or have I just not seen you before?"

"New. I arrived a little while ago, from the mountains."

[old_lizard]

"I found my way here from my library in New York, a few days ago.
A pleasure to meet you; I'm called Chinthliss."

"Chinthliss," Tiger repeats. He's never heard that name before. "Likewise - I am King Tiger."

[old_lizard]

"It's not a common name, I don't think..." ruefully. "Ah. Has anyone explained this place's nature or rules to you?"

"Yes," Tiger says, and smiles. "I can't imagine why everyone's putting such an emphasis on my hunting!"

He blinks. "I'm sure I don't know. I always thought it was rude to eat something that had introduced itself, most places. Unless you're hungry now, you mean?"

"I am not, and rarely do I hunt. It's a natural reaction, I suppose."

Tiger flashes his big, big, shiny teeth.

[old_lizard]

"Foolish of them to raise the subject, if they don't want you considering it..." he shrugs. The teeth get a smile. "Hah, well, most humans are nervous around anything that isn't tame anyhow."

"I am quite tame!"

He huffs.

Hmph.

"And 'mostly harmless'?"

"Mostly!"

Tiger smirks in that toothy way only a tiger can.
