Things have, perhaps, not been so interesting lately

Will notices the familiar man, who seems to be creating a piece of jewelry or something and walks over to the bar and asks for an ale and Master Raven's usual and carries them,

"Good even, Master Raven, I believe I owe ye a drink,"

And does a cautious smile, that first meeting was rather strange and Will's not taking too many chances.

Raven looks up, grinning.

"I am not so much for owing, I do not think. But whiskey is rarely so bad a thing, yes?"

Raven is not one to refuse free anything.

Ever.

[will_scarlett]

"Nay, whiskey tis a lovely thing,"

And returns the grin, so far Raven's seeming as unthreatening as before, just a little off kilter.

"Cookies are, perhaps, often better. Still."

Raven might give a slightly mournful look to his empty plate.

[will_scarlett]

Will sees the look but isn't quite sure what a cookie is, so flags over a waitrat, "Something chocolatey, please?" and hands over the plate.

And carefully sits down still not quite sure since that first meeting was just rather odd.

When the waitrat returns, doubtless it will bring chocolate chip cookies.

Raven is partial.

Very partial.

"You are well, perhaps?"

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, I've returned home and walked through the door again. Tis a lovely place here though strange too,"

A quiet look as Will thinks about the other Marian, full of happiness and feeling trapped yet not his Marion and the Green Man, stepped out of the stories and Sherwood.

"It is often so, I think."

Raven grins.

"People are for making things complicated."

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, what tis it ye're making, sir?"

Again a bit of quietness in his face, but it fades as curiousity takes over at the complicated thing Raven's holding.

Raven holds out the paperclips.

"Mostly it is a chain, I think."

Though whether it is merely for decoration, or if it is also a charm, well--

Raven is not saying.

[will_scarlett]

"Tis quite lovely and these are tasty,"

Will has been sampling the cookies and has found a new chocolate thing to like, so Raven needs to watch the cookies since Will's fingers are quick and he's hungry.

[creator_raven]

"They are, I think, my favorite."

He grins back at Will, flicking the paperclip chain at him before snatching up a few cookies of his own.

They vanish remarkably quickly, really.

At the flick of the chain, Will goes from relaxed to tense very quickly, looking ready to run if need be.

Though the grin helps a bit, but being caught even by someone who seems friendly, is not that relaxing and so smiles a bit and takes a drink, letting Raven have his cookies.

Raven does not quite roll his eyes at Will.

However, the next thing he flicks at him is another cookie.

Just because.

Will catches the cookie before it lands in his drink and grins back,

"Didn't know if ye were sharin' or not,"

And the cookie is eaten remarkably quickly but a now grinning Will.

"I am not so bad at that, I do not think."

Raven is not laughing.

Really.
