Possibly because she's not sure what her boyfriend would think of it. Or of her wearing it in public anyway.

But she's gone upstairs to change twice and Bar changed it back. So she's sort of given up.

So... Boho dressed like a hooker inna bar.

Bother at will. Try to pick her up if you dare. ;)

"But thanks for the beads?"

"And why should that stop us?" Foxtrot asks. "It's Mardi Gras! Time to get all your sinnin' out of the way before Lent!"

"All the sinning I want to do is with my boyfriend," she says with a bit of a grin. "And I ain't gonna let Lent get in my way, either."

Draco was briefly stopping in for some food. He didn't want to be in here, he didn't want to be there.

But he had to. Bar took pity, and just stuck a dragon mask on him. He took it off, and stared at it for a moment.

"It's Mardi Gras," A girl who looks suspiciously like a hooker tells him.

On a normal day when he wasn't entangled in complicated relationship issues, perhaps he would have tried to pick her up, Gondorian boyfriend regardless. Today, however, James merely gives the bohemian hooker a sympathetic grin.

"I suppose this is another bar-wide thing," he says with a hint of resignation.

"Most likely," April agrees dryly. "It's Mardi Gras. Fat Tuesday, apparently."

"Oh," he replies. "We couldn't be dressed in beads?"

"Don't give her any ideas, she might take to making outfits out of the beads." April shakes her head, but smiles. "Bar's got a funny sense of humor. She likes playing pranks. It'll be over by tomorrow, probably."

Boromir positions himself in front of April and crosses his arms over his chest. "What is the meaning of all this?"

He tries to look stern.

"I tried changing twice."

He raises an eyebrow.

"Well. My sword is at your disposal should someone forget their manners."

She laughs and kisses him. "You look nice today."

Angel's... well, calling his outfit protective coloration wouldn't be far at all. Otherwise, it's not that different from his usual.

"She did stuff like this last year. Once I realized what day it was, I figured playing along on my own might be a good move. How've you been?"

"Okay." April makes a face. "Not sleeping too good. And Miniver's in the infirmary going through alcohol detox."
