The sun's gone down. The food's been replenished.

So has the booze.

A bonfire's been set up, and is burning.

There are people relaxing , here and there, enjoying the warmth of the fire.

There are others, outside the ring of light, enjoying the darkness.

Don't go inside yet.

The night is young.

Bonfire's more my speed. Not that I mind the sun - especially after lots of cold Chicago winter - but I like the night. I work better then. Or I'm just more used to the dark.

Either way - bonfire - heat - darkness - good.

Lenny comes walking up from along the lakeside. "Lenny Inchpot, waitstaff. Would you like anything to eat or drink?"

I give him a nod and offer an introduction, "Harry Dresden, off-duty bartender." I hold up the beer I been wandering around with. "I think I'm good for now, but thanks."
