[Out of Milliways: After his last visit to the bar, Sylar makes a side trip to Midland, Texas. (Spoilers for "Seven Minutes to Midnight.")]
He balks again when he opens the door, but it's for a far shorter stretch this time: four seconds, maybe five of that blank, overwhelmed lack of focus. Though it hasn't cleared entirely by the time he steps in and lets the door shut behind him, it doesn't look like he's on the verge of passing out from the head-pounding dissonance, either.
If Sylar's learned the value of anything, it's how to adapt.
Still, when he requests a glass of water from Bar and goes to find a table, he settles on one close to the observation window. It gives him a nice view of the apocalypse and the bar at large.
Both, he thinks, are equally worthy of study.
