Katara inna bar! With dinner! And trying not to step on any puppets.

She maintains this by sitting at the bar with her dinner, and keeping her feet high on the rung of the barstool.

She's totally botherable, otherwise, though! And looks awful happy there, too!

Oh, no, another one of those stupid puppets that latched onto her leg and yelled at her about all his angsts and woes and--

"Oh, no, Aang!"

There are hands around him now, lifting him up to a very worried face. Which shortly becomes a very worried face with a contained smile.

"...Oh, you are so cute."

Very funny. Which is why Katara is still giggling after it's over. "Oh, no... well, at least we know it's temporary? Everything here is temporary, so you should be okay!"

Though whether it lasts hours, days, weeks, or months is anybody's guess.

Since he's still up in the air, she starts to move him to sit down on the bar and-- thinks better of it, starts to set him down on the chair next to her and-- no, that's not right, and she's certainly not putting him back on the floor.

"Um... well... can you sit or... how do I...?"

Now would be an opportune time to suggest her lap, Aang.

"Oh, okay," says Katara, setting him down so his little plush was against her breasts. But - pfft - it's a cute, little, plushy Aang who needs a place to sit!

"Well... how are you feeling? Is it okay?"

The plushie-ness, not the lap.

She smiles at that, still peering at him, and reaches for a french fry to munch on. "At least it doesn't hurt! Hey-- do you need to eat? Or can you right now?"

"Well, I've got a lot of fries here, if you want any," Katara says and shifts him on her lap so he can see the top of the bar. "How does walking feel? A lot of the other puppets have been having trouble with it."

It's okay! She'll help! She'll just hold the fry for him while he munches! "Well, if you need someone to carry you, I'm the one! Do you want to stay in my room till it wears off or are you okay in yours?"

Of course, they haven't actually 'made time' in Katara's room yet...

Laughing a little, Katara pets the arrow on his fuzzy head, grinning down at him. "You can stay with me then! It'll be nice to spend the night with you again - it's been a while since we were at home."

Bad Mike, no cookie.

Grinning a little at the nod, Katara just continues petting the arrow and munching her fries. When he starts to drop off, she'll carry him upstairs.

A lot has been happening lately - it's nice to know that mothering Aang will always be a constant.
