The bar door slams open, and Kira comes in from outside. She's wheezing slightly, in the manner of someone who's been running around in cold winter air, and carrying a dark felt bundle. There's odd white streaks over it. Kira looks around, heads for a booth, and puts it down. Now it looks more like a large, dark, hairy wolf

Annie normally stays quite near the rear door of the Bar three nights a month, at least when she's at the Bar. She looks up as Kira dashes by. "Ah- do you need some help there?" she offers.

"Not me," Kira says unhappily. "Maybe? Um, can you sew? He's sort of alive, and I don't think it's good for him to be all chewed open."

[stubborn_annie]

"I can sew fairly well, yes," says Annie. "What do you mean, sort of alive?" She moves forward to get a better look.

[captainryan]

Ooo, new person! Sniff! The werewolf leans toward Annie, but keeps its felt claws firmly tangled in Kira's clothes.

[stubborn_annie]

"Good heavens," says Annie, blinking. "My, that's a distinctive design- I say, can you talk?"

She's seen Harry's other form from quite a close distance several times, once here in the Bar through the invisible wall of the cells. The puppet's shape looks awfully familiar.

"Yeah, he moves," Kira says. "He doesn't say anything, he just noses." She snuggles him briefly! And then she hands over the emergency sewing kit. "Can you get that side? It can't be good for him to lose stuffing. He'll go flat."

[captainryan]

The werewolf snuggles back! He likes her! She saved him from fire-breathing bunnies that wanted to eat him!

He gives a soft chuff as the various hands hold him still. He wants to explore! He knows that losing stuffing can't be good, though, so he holds still with resigned sigh.

[stubborn_annie]

"Certainly," says Annie. "Ah- I don't know if this is going to hurt. Could you keep his mouth out of the way, please? The teeth don't look sharp, but that could get awfully distracting."

She's sewn up stuffed toys for her nieces and nephews in the past, and clothing's easy enough to patch. What's a puppet compared to that?

"Sure. He wasn't acting hurt when I grabbed him, and I was kind of in a hurry." Kira sighs. "And I'm out twenty bucks saving him. I don't care, though," she adds hastily to his fuzzy face. "Here, look here, please?" She puts a hand gently on the side of his head. "Oo, look at all this lovely mane." She starts putting finger-curls on the near side of his head.

She'll sew too, if he holds still for Annie.

He leans into Kira's petting with a contented sigh. If he had a tail, it'd be wagging. The best he can do is a happy panting. He doesn't even seem to notice the needle.

Annie smiles a little and sets to work with a will. "How very strange. Do you know, he looks awfully like-" She pauses, looking at the girl before going back to sewing. "I don't believe we've met, have we? My name's Annie Wells."

Kira is oblivious with love. "Like what?" Oh, pet him! "I'm Kira." And alas, he needs stitchings on this side, so she gets in one more good snuggle and another two curls and then picks up her needle and thread again. "Kira Clemens. I'm Bound here. I'm an art major and I work with crafts, so at least I can handle sewing."

But...but...petting! The werewolf looks horribly lost at the sudden lack of snuggle. What about the other person? Will she snuggle?

He leans toward Annie, puppet eyes full of hope.

Will a belly rub do? Annie's perfectly willing to do that.

Mostly because she's been seized by a horrid suspicion and she wants to see if there's a very particular set of... well, seams, probably. Fortunately, they don't seem to be there, so she rubs the puppet behind the ears instead. "Pleasure to meet you, Kira- and you too, little fellow, whoever you are. My, you're a fine werewolf, aren't you? You look quite a bit like my Harry, in a way."

It really is cute. She's going to need pictures of this. Possibly she might get something similar made for Susan to play with.

"Oo, he is pretty werewolfy. I wasn't sure what to make of him. I had a stuffed tiger with arms when I was little? I called him Mr. Snuggles. Mr. Snuggles was awesome."

If Annie's looking for the seams mun thinks she is, those'd be on this werewolf's chest. He pushes into the hand scritching his ears with an odd whurffle sound, eyes closing contentedly.
