Knox, over in a booth, hears a gale of laughter and sees a face he last saw on a dungeon crawl he would rather forget about.

"What's so funny?"

[nitro_is_ace]

Ace takes a moment to sober up. She should get a medal or something for this effort, considering the song has been put on loop repeat.

"It's... itsa song. From bar." She explains, before the bit about 'My Venus of love' pops up again, ans she's set off once more.

[gotham_knocking]

"You can get get music from the Bar on that?" Knox is puzzled. he can barely figure out how ti use his iPod as it is. "A novelty song, like Weird Al, or something?"

[nitro_is_ace]

Again, Ace makes a monumental effort. This thing is priceless.

"S'a friend of mine. My god he must've been stoned..." She gasps, degrading into giggles.

[gotham_knocking]

"So... you ahve a friend who makes records? Or did the Bar do some kind of candid recording, like on TV?" He's still confused.

[nitro_is_ace]

"He's a PE teacher." She manages, still giggling. "Ex-army. An' he really, really doesn't sing. He's as bad as me!"

Ace now has proof.

"Ex-army...?" Knox thinks for a second. He knows certain people who talk about Ace. "Wells?" Nah.

[nitro_is_ace]

Ace nods furiously while breaking down into fresh gales of laughter.

Poor Wells. His reputation is shot to hell.

"Oh my. Ooooh my." Wells singing? That is rich. Knox smiles broadly.
