When he gets back to the condo after helping Michelle pack up Tony's things, it's obvious that Chris is still at work, the apartment silent, except for Coco's enthusiastic greeting. It's too silent, really, something he realizes quickly as he wanders around, looking for something to do. Something to take his mind off the memories packing up Tony's things had stirred up. He can't concentrate on TV or a book, can't settle to anything.
What he really wants, right now, is a drink.
Jack glances at the pantry door, the door leading to Milliways. He's not sure he's really going the be the best company at the moment, but he doesn't want to stay in the silence of the apartment. In Milliways it's always easier to forget things for a little while at least. There are enough distractions that he can talk with people, even smile and joke around a bit at times, putting his concerns aside for a moment.
As the silence closes in on him, the decision seems easy and he heads for the door to the bar, stepping into the noise and the light gratefully. heading for the bar he grabs a drink then makes for a table where he can keep an eye out for a few people.
He's there if anyone wants to stop and chat; he might not be in the greatest mood, but he's definitely looking for something to distract him from that.
