"Magic." Pipes up Ace, giving her dog a look. With a huff the doberman sits back on her haunches, and encouragingly wags her tail at the nice man.
"She could do with some supper." The pyro adds, giving Magic's ears a scritch for good behavior.

Then he walks back into the kitchen, returning a moment later with a decent portion of ground red meat in a bowl. Garion walks out from behind the bar and places it on the ground for her.
""Eat well, little sister.""

Ace leans on the bar, lazily.
"So do y'serve humans too, or do I need t'go beggin' Bar for m'supper?"

"You're welcome to order if you'd like. But while I'm good at guessing as to what she might like, I'll not even try with you."

"Beef stew, an' a hot buttered rum, if y'please." She says instead, meek as you like.
Yes, she is probably laughing on the inside. She's like that.

"She must've picked it up somewhere." Ace replies, non-comittally, doing her best to ignore the implications of his backhanded compliment.

Then he looks to Ace.
"I'm just a little nervous about saying much of anything to you. I don't want to offend."

"Keep the bleedin' big swords away from m'head, an' it's amazin' how civil I can be." She retorts, drily. It hardly seems fair that she gets painted as the unreasonable one here. There was a REALLY BIG SWORD and he was going to skewer her with it.
