Because, for some reason, she doesn't get to come in at this age very often, there was a middling-in-age woman sitting in a booth, humming to herself and doing some beadwork, a pair of reading glasses perched on the end of her nose so that she could see what she was doing, peote stitch was easy enough, even circular, but sometimes the holes in the beads were difficult to catch.
